Colquitt advances to 5-1 on the season and will host Trinity Christian Academy (FL) this Friday, October 11, 2019 at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium with an 8 PM scheduled kickoff. The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors (FL) will hope to rebound against the Pack after a 20-7 loss to Booker T. Washington on October 3rd.
The Conquerors have faced what many consider one of the most challenging schedules assembled by a Northeast Florida football program. All 10 of the teams on their schedule this season reached the playoffs last year and have qualified for 11 state championships in the past five years (American Heritage in 2014, 2015 and 2017; Colquitt in 2014 and 2015; Miami Washington in 2014 and 2015; Miami Carol City in 2016; Pahokee in 2016; Raines in 2017 and 2018).
The Conquerors have got the athletes to match up with the most hyped prospects from across the state, especially on the outside. Not only can they rely on locking down the outside with Fred Davis and Miles Brooks, possibly Florida’s top cornerback duo, but their offense has the means to light up the scoreboard even without the graduated Marcus Crowley, who signed with Ohio State.
The Conquerors will be leaning on Jacory Jordan, a 6-2.5, 185-pound Dual-Threat Quarterback and the likes of Tyler Davis their 6-1, 293 Clemson commit defensive tackle among other multi-star athletes. Their feature back is is Kyjuan Herndon who has committed with Ole Miss.
