September 26, 2025 – Valdosta, GA
The Colquitt County Packers came up short in their Region showdown Friday night, falling 31-14 to the Lowndes Vikings at Martin Stadium.
Lowndes relied on a steady rushing attack, piling up key yards on the ground while also connecting on several big plays through the air. Running back Mason Woods sparked the Vikings with two touchdowns, including a late 65-yard score that sealed the win. Quarterback Jayce Johnson added balance with more than 180 yards passing.
For the Packers, Jae Lamar found little running room against the Lowndes defense and was held under 50 yards on the night. Colquitt managed two scores but could not keep pace as Lowndes pulled away in the second half. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Packers, who are now 4-2 on the season. Lowndes remained unbeaten at 6-0.
