Colquitt Drops Home Opener To Westlake 31-24, Preps For Cedar Grove

In a nail-biter this past Friday night and despite a stellar fourth quarter performance Colquitt dropped it’s home opener game versus visiting Westlake. The home field loss snapped a 24 game home win streak as Westlake prevailed at the final horn 31-24.

Colquitt now (1-1) will play at home at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium this Friday against a AAA top ranked Cedar Grove. Cedar Grove won their opener over Tucker this past Friday and comes in at 1-0 on the season. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 PM kickoff.
