Colquitt Takes Out Grayson 31-7 In Record Breaking Game

September 29, 2019 – Moultrie, GA

Grayson’s last visit to Moultrie in 2016 resulted in a state quarterfinal win on their path to becoming the eventual state champions that year. This year’s trip to Moultrie ended quite differently for the Rams however. The Packers and Daijun Edwards had their way with the #16 ranked team in the nation with a 31-7 victory. Two new school records were set by Colquitt’s senior running back Daijun Edwards. Edwards hit the 60 touchdown mark for his career and has now posted up 3,870 career yards. Colquitt’s Jaycee Harden was 19-for-28 passing for 216 yards on the night with touchdown passes to both Tajh Sanders and Lemeke Brockington. Edwards finished with 99 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.

Colquitt advances to 4-1 on the season and will host Alcovy for their homecoming game this Friday, October 4, 2019 at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium with an 8 PM scheduled kickoff.
