Packer Touchdown Club 2019 Membership Drive Kicks Off

Dear Packer Football Friend,
On behalf of the Packer Touchdown Club, we would like for you to join us in welcoming Packer Football Head Coach Justin Rogers as we begin a new and exciting era of Packer Football. Packer fans have high expectations and we feel like Coach Rogers is the man to keep our Packer tradition going forward.

Admiration for our program is as strong as ever throughout the Nation as CalPreps has us pre-season ranked #15 in the Nation and #1 in the State for the 2019 season. Our spring game was played at Troy University back in May against Meridian Mississippi and our Packers came away with a blowout victory of 56-0. This offseason we have won the 7on7 tournaments at the University of Georgia and Florida State University. We finished in the top eight at Auburn and in the top four at the Corky Kell 7on7 in Atlanta.

Your membership to the Packer Touchdown Club helps provide too many things to list them all. Here are just a few examples;

Meals for our football team week in and week out of our vigorous schedule and throughout the year.
Sent Students to participate in various football camps to be better prepared and in order to earn scholarships.
Paid the 9th payment on the improvements to Mack Tharpe Stadium.
Paid part of the travel expenses for the team during the season.
Paid for the setup of our Colquitt County Packer Football website and pay to maintain it. colquittcountypackerfootball.com
Pay to have our Hype & Highlight Videos produced to showcase our Packer Football Program to virtually everyone Worldwide.

Our Colquitt County Packer Football website has had an amazing 62,981 different users, with 186,579 views, since its inception in April of 2018. Last year’s pre-season Hype Video had over 31,000 views and most of our highlight videos get between 8,000–15,000 views on average. Our video introducing Coach Rogers had over 37,000 views on our Packer Touchdown Club Facebook page.

As you can see, all the hard work the kids and coaches are putting in is paying off. Because of this kind of commitment, we need a Touchdown Club to help Packer Football be the best it can be, to show the kids that the community supports all their hard work and success and to show the coaches we support all the long hours they put in. Our membership drive will begin with this letter and end on Thursday, August 15th. We will have our Meet the Pack banquet at 6:30 pm at the high school cafeteria that night. Gay’s Seafood will
cater a seafood buffet.

Our membership levels are included on page two of the 2019 Touchdown Club Membership Packet. TD Club Associate and Partner members will park in the South end parking lot. All other members will park in the North parking lot. Parking passes have changed colors again this year for both parking lots. Parking passes and shirts can be picked up at the Meet the Pack banquet or from me at Robert Hutson Paint & Body.

The CCHS Cheerleaders will be publishing the media guide and weekly programs again.
