Packers Knock Off Warner Robins 41-14, Grayson Up Next

The Colquitt County Packers are now 5-0 after handing the Warner Robins squad their first loss of the season this past Friday night at McConnell-Talbert Stadium in Warner Robins, Georgia. The Packers capitalized early and quick by scoring on their first, second and third offensive drives of the game. (Colquitt video game highlights above)
While the Colquitt running back duo of Edwards and Leggett only managed a combined 190 rushing yards, they accounted for 30 of the 41 points scored. Edwards had 4 touchdowns on the night and Leggett one. All-American Kicker Ryan Fitzgerald tacked on the other 11 points while kicking PATs and two field goals, one of which set another school record of 57 yards on a snap and hold kick. When all was said and done it was Colquitt 41 and Warner Robins 14.
The nationally ranked 5-0 Packers will trek up to Grayson Community Stadium in Loganville, Georgia this upcoming Friday to take on the Grayson Rams who are also nationally ranked. Packers Head Coach Rush Propst has said on more than one occasion that we’ll know exactly where the team stands after this match-up. This game should serve as a great barometer for both programs as they each prepare to move forward into their respective region play that’s quickly approaching.
