The Colquitt County Packers picked up their first win of the 2026 football season Saturday afternoon with a dominant 52-0 victory over Monroe at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium in Moultrie.

Originally scheduled for Friday night, the Packers’ home opener and Senior Night matchup was postponed because of lightning and rain and rescheduled for Saturday afternoon.

The Packers continued to pull away in the second quarter. Stewart Grant added a field goal, Stephenson and Lewis each scored again, and Mitchell connected with Antwan Lockett for a 41-yard touchdown pass as Colquitt took a commanding 38-0 lead into halftime.

Colquitt added two more touchdowns in the second half while the Packer defense kept Monroe off the scoreboard. The 52-0 victory marked Colquitt County’s first shutout since 2022 and moved the Packers to 1-1 on the season.
